TRAINING MANAGER - PART TIME

We are currently seeking a Training Manager to lead and manage our educational/training arm. This person will ensure that a dynamic and responsive evidence-based training programme is in place and that contract educators and youth tutors are well supported to deliver this programme. As a virtual organisation it is important for our Training Manager to be someone who is able to both work from home and attend offsite meetings. 

This is a contract position, 10-15 hours per week - flexible, work from home. This is for an initial period of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train, support and supervise contract educators and youth tutors
  • Develop an educator training package
  • Develop and create workshop content
  • Chair Training Committee meetings
  • Support the development, and delivery of in house training
  • Develop training resources
  • Manage training related income and expenditure
  • Co-ordinate external applications for funding
  • Manage Educator/Youth Tutor contracts
  • Manage the Training Calendar
  • Report to the Board
  • Manage evaluations of training
  • Attend weekly Executive Team meetings

  • Licenced driver
  • Skilled in critically analysing and applying research information
  • Able to address diverse learning styles
  • Enthusiastic, energised, and enjoys meeting over coffee with K9 colleagues included.
